Reviews

Authors live for reviews - please leave reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub, wherever you can! And feel free to leave a review here as well - just go to the “contact” page and let me know what you think.

The reason I ask for you to leave a review both on Amazon and here on my website is because Amazon sometimes deletes reviews (I don't know how they decide to do this but it happens).Amazon reviews are extremely helpful to me but I would be honored to receive them here as well.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this.

5.0 out of 5 starsCaptivating!

I stayed up reading until after 3:00 a.m. because I couldn’t put it down. There are so many twists and turns in the story, you’ll never guess the ending. You will, however, have loads of fun along the way.

There are a few tense moments, a small amount of violence, and a fair amount of woo-hooing, but nothing creepy, scary, or disgusting.

Carol is a talented writer, and I look forward to her next book.

Well developed characters, suspense, romance, Irish folklore, a ghost (or two), a character you love to hate ... this book is engaging from the get go and a very easy read. I enjoyed it immensely and it leaves off in a good place to look forward to the next in the series (which I hope is released soon)!

A solid romance with intriguing supernatural elements and appealing protanganists. Themes on friendship, the redemptive power of love and the dangers of single-minded obsession in relationships give some nice depth to the story.

5.0 out of 5 starsInteresting romance and suspenseful ghost story

This was an active mystery with many twists and turns. I liked both Mary and Sean as well as all the secondary characters. Some were quite evil and frustrating, many kept you in suspense of their intentions to the end. There were many unexpected surprises and I was kept engaged throughout. This is a stand alone story, which I thought flowed well. I loved that the the story was set in Ireland with the beauty of the land and all of the magic, witches, ghosts and mystery. Plenty of romance in the first half and the second half was more of the mystery to the tale. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.

I was given an ARC copy to review and my review is unsolicited and of my own opinion.
I loved it. Even though it is a ghost story the romantic part of the story is very well written. Carol Maschke has professionally chosen her characters to fit completely with her story line. The story has mystery, intrigue, romance, and friendship. It's a feel good book. I recommend it especially for all the heartfelt writings that Carol has put in to it.

4.0 out of 5 starsAn Affair to Remember in a small Irish village

I really enjoyed reading Ghost of the Gaelic Moon. When I read the teaser, I built expectations in my mind. Reading the book... my expectations were shattered and an even better result was built. While it's a ghost story, it's even more than that. The characters are real, and you want to believe in the good ones, while wanting to stab the villians in the eye just to help. I'm hoping to see more books with these characters in the future!

Loved this book! What a unique story about true love. Mary and her friend Amy are sent to Ireland to spend a few months working. Amy urges her friend to have a fling while she's there. In walks Sean and the magic begins! In the background, Sean's evil estranged wife, Maggie is doing all she can to get him back. I don't want to spoil the book by telling to much, but it has wonderful characters and a great story line. Well worth reading!

A fantastic love story full of spirits, good and evil. An American on assignment in Ireland falls for a local guy. Problem is there are multiple complications that keep throwing wrenches into their lives. The story is never dull and the characters are ones that are easy to like and easy to get mad at. So glad I read this book and I voluntarily review it. Enjoy reading this book.

Ghost of the Gaelic Moon by Carol Maschke
What a wonderful story this was! I could not put it down but had to as dinner was put before me and my kindle taken out of my hands. Oh this story had me liking some of the characters a good deal and disliking immensely a few others. That shows what a well written novel it truly is. It takes place in Ireland and was as mystical and magic as I believe Ireland to be. There were many surprises along the way as I learned more about the characters.
I cannot possibly do justice in a few sentences but I can tell you that I truly enjoyed my time reading about this adventure as it unwound in Ireland including visits to the Gaelic Moon pub.
I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed it. I hope many others are tempted to read this fantastic book as well, and run across the title or review while looking for something to read. You won't regret choosing this book.

Ghost of the Gaelic Moon by Carol Maschke is a paranormal romance with a plot that has incredible twists.

This is an interesting story with a terrific concept, an exciting setting, and characters that are well-developed. I was hooked from the very first paragraph, thanks to Carol Maschke’s great storytelling skills and the awesome prose. The prose is very descriptive and filled with colorful images of both the setting and the characters. The plot in Ghost of the Gaelic Moon is sophisticated and imagined to create and sustain the reader’s curiosity, the kind of story that makes the reader ask questions about what could possibly happen next. The tight writing is mixed with excellent formatting to make for an enjoyable read. You won’t put this book down until you turn the last page, and even then the characters will haunt your thoughts.
